Spring Fever

Green leafs poking out their heads
to greet the morning sun
Soon colors will dance along the ground

The trees stretch theirs arms as far
as they will go as they
begin to make their summer coat

Children splash in the puddles left behind
with the early morning showers
Spring approaches with grand and glory

Reasons

All for a Reason
Into a mothers arms a baby lies
her soft curls that donned her head
lay upon the pillow
She smiles as if some angel just
whispered a tale
The father's tears break
through one by one
marching across his cheeks
Prayers fill the air
with hope and strength
He does hear you and no prayer
will go unanswered
but understand this whatever
your faith/belief things do happen
for a REASON
It is for a REASON that
this mother does not sleep
It is for a REASON that
this father does weep
It is for a REASON that
friends pulled together
It is for a REASON that
hope and strength have weathered
It is for a REASON that
this sounds absurb
It is for a REASON that
the prayers be heard

Wreath

This wreath was a housewarming gift from my mother-in-law, the flowers came from TJ's grandma, the little hat from a doll my grandmother, the candles from our first counsler, the mask from my mother and tucked amoung the vines are four skeleton keys representing us.

Sometimes I feel as if my mind can not absorb any more but then out of my mouth comes some information from some unknown place.

A dark image smeared their worth
The pain seared so deeply by the hate it caused
The frantic search for reason goes on without pause
Some are found but all seems lost
Fist shake upwards there is no calculating cost
Life is precious and so dear

Here’s a little crazy simple poem dedicated to the truck driver.

ODE TO THE TRUCK DRIVER
From coast to coast their big wheels go.
Bringing us things to enjoy and love.
The truck driver goes hundred of miles
on all kinds of roads through all
kinds of weather.
Their trucks are their home day and night.
The next stop may bring a cusine delight.
They see City after City and all its hype.
But never really stop to enjoy the sight.
So hats off to the truck drivers and
their endless plight.
May the roads be clear and a vacation in sight.
